Salisbury Steak recipe finally!

Patties:

2 slices of soft white bread, cubed, crusts removed
1/4 up finely chopped onion
1 egg
1 tbsp. onion soup mix
1 tbsp. tomato paste
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 lbs. lean ground beef or ground turkey
1 tbsp. olive oil

add all but meat and oil in a large mixing bowl; mix well. add beef; mix well. shape into six oval shaped patties. about 1/4 inches thick. add oil to skillet. place patties in skillet and cook 3-4 minutes on each side or just until brown.
place in baking dish.
preheat oven to 350.
for the sauce I use a can of mushroom gravy ( NOT cream of mushroom) poured it over the patties and cooked until no longer pink.

* next time I want to use more gravy
